An Interesting Cluster of "Blue Quartz" Crystals Piercing Through a Sparkling Quartz “Plate” Separating the Blue Side from the White Side.  Re-Healed Areas.  Discovered in 2010.

Tourmalated Quartz is a Crystal that Formed Together with Tourmaline.  This Variety of Quartz Contains Tourmaline Impurities Within the Crystal and is Formed at High Temperatures and Pressure.  The Quartz and Tourmaline Minerals are in a Liquid State and Therefore Able to Mix.  The Result is Quartz Crystal Exhibiting Color from the Tourmaline Needles and Crystals Themselves.
