A Natural "Strawberry Quartz" Crystal, Richly Included by Acicular Crystals of Hematite which Give it a Unique Sparkle and Color, All its Own. It is Extremely Rare to Find a Surviving Specimen in this Size Range, Including One that Has Not Been Polished, as Most Are. The Inclusions Display Nicely without the Need for Polishing.
Originally Known as "Scarlet Quartz" and Used in the Late Nineteenth Century to Describe Fine-Grained, Red Hematite Included Quartz from the Iron Mines of Cumbria (Cumberland), England.
